I woke up today, not with just any feeling. I opened my eyes, and took in the oxygen from the room I was in. I firmly placed my feet on the ground, in order to walk towards the kitchen for a glass of water. While walking, I could recall the happy moments I shared throughout the days of my life. I could plan out what I wanted to chase after today. I was able to reminiscence over past memories. I had the voice to tell the people I love, that I love them. I believe so, that I woke up today happy.
I woke up today, not happy because of my life. I woke up today, happy that I was still living it. Happy, not because I have everything in life, but happy that I'm still living it. I was happy, not because yesterday was great, but because I was given the chance to see a tomorrow.
Today, I woke up. Believe it or not, I'm thankful for the chance to see daylight again. This chance isn't given to everyone, but it was given to you and me. Will you let the sun rise and fall on your sadness, or use this day as a road to succeed?
