Harry walked through the front door, he threw his keys in a little dish plate by the door. He put his jacket on the hook and kicked his shoes off and placed them neatly on the shoe rack. He walked into the kitchen to find his wife Melody playing with her fingers.

Her and Harry have been recently fighting a lot. They just weren't the same as they were in high school.

Harry grabbed a bottle of water. "Where's Darcy?"   He asked while opening the bottle.

"Upstairs...playing." Melody said quietly.

Harry nodded as he drank his water. He let out a deep sigh. "I uh...filed the divorce papers today."

Melody nodded biting her lips anxiously.

"They should be here soon I guess." Harry said walking up the steps to approach his four year old daughter who was giggling in her room.

"Harry wait." Melody said walking over to him.

Harry looked at Melody. This wasn't the girl he fell head over heels for six years ago. Her hair wasn't curly, it was in a messy bun. She had a lot of dark circles under her eyes from not sleeping. Her eyes were bloodshot red from crying.

"What?" He raised his eyebrows.

Melody let out a quiet sigh. "In 30 days Darcy will be out of school for the summer. Can we act like a couple so she doesn't think something is up. I don't want to tell her the news not yet."

Harry looked at Melody. She was right. He didn't want his four year old daughter to go to school and tell her friends that her mommy or daddy doesn't live with her.

Harry nodded in agreement.

"Ok."

He said walking up the steps being greeted by Darcy who had animals everywhere in her room.
