Favorite Place: Her father has a cabin in the woods of New York, and there's a stone path that leads across the stream to an abandoned, wooden pavilion that is covered with overgrown greenery. Her mother used to hang out in this spot and write in her journal when she was younger, and when she goes to that place she feels more connected to her than when they go to the graveyard.
Facts About Rowan:
Rowan's mother died during childbirth, so she never got to really get to know her. Growing up it was really hard on her, when people would ask what her mother was like and she wouldn't know what to tell them. Rowan wanted to know more about her mother other than the few stories her father would tell her to ease her ongoing curiosity as a child.
Rowan likes muted colors, but her favorite is a light muted green that she calls "Mr. Pistachio".
Rowan has a crush on her best friend, Luke.
Rowan aspires to complete the dreams her mother was never able to.
She cuts her hair short because her mother had short hair in photos.
