The district was ablaze, littered with corpses from the titan attack. Everyone had sustained fatal injuries or was dead. Armin and even Mikasa were lying there, lifeless as dolls. Eren lay sitting in an ally, very little life left in him. He had been gravely hurt after emerging from his titan form; the monstrosities had been on him like a moth to light. Slowly looking around, Eren saw Corporal Rivaille walking towards him, then sitting down. "Heichou..." Eren whispered with the last of his strength. "Don't blame yourself..." The last thing Eren saw was Levi with tears coming out of one of his eyes as he mumbled. "Shitty brat."
