Why is this happening?  Why?  We were supposed to get married and settle down.  But why? What am i doing here???

You ran down the hallways in search of a safe place in the damage stricken building. You were panting and heaving from excessive running and dragging the heavy gun in your arms.  You glanced behind you and saw those ugly creatures were chasing you.

Zombies.

You were half grateful that they were slow enough in action and couldn't catch up to you yet. But, if they started to learn you'll be doomed.

I should get back to the infirmary.  The help isn't coming yet and my bullets almost finished.

You round the corner and climb the stairs up as fast as you could before turning back and shoot the zombie in the head. It died instantly. After that,  you rushed to the infirmary where your base was.

You glanced to your sides making sure the zombies weren't around and opened the door.  You immediately stepped inside and locked it and pushed the sofa to the door for safety reasons.

"(N)-san?  Did you find anything?" Yamaguchi asked.  You sighed and shake your head.

"There's many dead bodies out there and they're increasing in numbers. If this keep up, we're doomed," you said looking at the terrified male.

"Kei, did you manage to get through the HQ yet?" You asked to another male.

"No. It seems like they're avoiding us. They didn't want to risk to save us because we're not many. It's not worth the effort" the blonde said bitterly.

You frowned. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima are your subordinates. The three of you were military officers who mainly in charge of researches since all of you major on medicine.

Your group who consists of five people including Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, Yachi,  Hinata and you were sent to the school for a research about a new vaccine. Suddenly there was an outbreak and zombies appeared everywhere, endangering your lives.

It's been three weeks now since the outbreak and you can't seem to contact any of the superior officers in request for help. Your food supplies were almost finished and you have to move out soon if you wanted to survive.

"Where's Shoyo and Hitoka?" You asked, noticing they're not around.

"They're on the rooftop. In charge of scouting today, " Yamaguchi answered.

"Is Hitoka okay?"

"She's starting to calm down today with Shoyo's help"

"That's good" you replied.

Hitoka was your niece and the youngest in the team. She wasn't an official medical officer yet and was in her practical studies. Unfortunately for her, she had to face these kind of disasters and had a nervous breakdown.

You're thankful to have Shoyo on your team who was able to stay cheerful despite the madness and keeping everyone calm and sane. He was like the ball of sunshine that gave everyone energy to keep moving on.

As for Tsukishima, he's a salty bitch and tends to be salty all the time. But he wasn't bad at all.  That's just how he act. But, we all know that deep down he cared. He acted like he was so done with all of them but they know he really cared.

At first, Yamaguchi was just like Hitoka who was a nervous wreck ball.  But he gradually warmed up to everyone and have been a great help to you.  He was really nice and reliable and act as a big brother to the team although he was panic stricken at random times.

"(Fn), you should sleep. I rather look at the zombies than at you if you stay up again tonight" Tsukishima snorted. You pouted.

"I never ask you to look at me. Fine, I'm sleeping for a while. Wake me up if you get anything" you reminded.

"You don't have to worry. I'll be sure to yell the hell out of you" the blonde smirked.

"Yeah, sure. Thanks a lot bitch"

"You're welcome, baby"

You stared at your phone wallpaper. It was a photo of you and your beloved fiancé, Akaashi Keiji. He was the second in command in the combat team who always fought in the front lines. You two promised to get married by the end of this year but then,  this madness began.

You were hoping Akaashi's team could come and help you get out of the hell hole as soon as he can but he was on the other side of the city.

"He will come soon. Let's just believe in him" you heard Tsukishima said from the table.

"Yeah...  I hope so"
