The guardsman was bribed

The royal guard slain

The maiden fell from her tower

And the empress was assassinated

Yet, I will sit here and watch

As it all crumbles

The maid knows

The stable boy knows

The watchman's son knows

They do not tell, for they fear the same fait

And I will still sit here

The baker is moving

The fisherman has joined the riots

The blacksmith has barricaded the house

The people are afraid, and in their fear, they burn their own world down

I will stay seated here for a little longer

The trees are dying

The lakes are freezing

The people are calming

For there is nothing more to destroy

I think I might go to find another home soon

Where the land is still untainted

And my prey is fresh
