Where I Am From

I am from blueberry bushes and getting up early to fish the river, summer or winter.
I am from lullabies and starlight, streaming through the window.
I am from laying under the large cottonwood trees in the front yard, looking for shapes in the leaves.
The fireworks on my sister's birthday and the ferryboat rides up to Mackinaw, ready to serve in the Governor's Honor Guide.
I am from the campfires and family Christmas parties, frim triathalona and arts and crafts.
Drama classes, eco clubs, choir, german, and dance, these are the things I come from.
