Rose
Did you ever wonder if there is actually someone out there made for you? Like your soul mate, for example. Somebody who's going through the same, or similar, shit that you are. They understand you on a spiritual level. They understand you in a way no one else does.
I have certainly been thinking about this most of my time. Especially while I'm sat on the bus for 1 hour straight to get to school. Ahh yes, you guessed it, first day of school; senior year of high school is finally here. My seat is in the very middle of the bus, on the lower seats. I am one of the few lucky people that sit alone on the bus. The back is the worst. Jess, Brian and their group sit there. They're like the mean kids on the bus I guess.
I realise I've been staring into space for too long and I'm probably freaking out the kid sat at the front, so I unzip my bag and take out my earphones plugging then into my iPhone. My playlist is mainly indie rock and punk rock. It's a long list and it takes me a few minutes to choose a song but I finally smash on some Arctic Monkeys and put my phone down.

It's kind of hot today, but I couldn't resist wearing black. It's not like I have anything else to wear. I have to look my best if I want to actually be someone different in this school. Taking a quick glance at my watch, I see the bus coming my way. Finally! When I get on, the bus is full and there are a few empty seats, which are next to someone. Great. A certain girl catches my eye but when I look over her eyes are already glued on me. Approaching her seat, I'm about to ask her if the seat if free but before I do, she cuts me off. "Yes" she murmurs. Her voice sounds magical.

In the middle of the bus ride, a certain boy gets on who catches my attention. He's tall, about 5 ft 9, blue eyes and chocolate brown hair. He wore all black, black shirt, black jeans, black Nike's. There was something about this boy that was kind of magnetic. Before I know it, he's by my seat and I can smell his perfume. I know he's about to adk me if the seat is free. I agree to him sitting down next to me. It was like a reflex. I never felt something like this before.

Rose
When we finally get to school, he gets off first. We're walking the same path but I'm right behind him analysing his every more. His movement is so smooth, when he moves, there's always a purpose to it. A reason why he moves. Get your shit together Rose, it's not like he'll ever be interested in you anyways. The voice in my head told me. It was true, why would a boy like him even look at a girl like me?
