Myles POV
As I stand in my room looking at my mirror fixing my outfit I think about that party I'm going to go to. I'm 19 now. 19. The time has flown by. I thought about the time I was in Billy Elliot or that time I was small j troupe Noah. How the times have changed.
Today it mine and Vics joint 19th party.
Briar isn't going.
I really don't know if it's good or bad that she's not going.
I've been feeling different feelings towards her and I don't know ether if they are good or bad feelings.
Maybe tonight will be my chance to figure them out find out what I should do.
I mean I've developed new feelings for a friend and I don't know if I want to just be friends with her anymore.
I don't know if she feels the same.
Does she feel the same?
I guess I'm going to find out tonight my true feelings for these two girls Briar and-
My thought is stopped by a knock at the door from my older brother saying it's time to leave for the party.
As he's driving me I'm just thinking about what to do and what I should say. It's all so complicated I just don't know what I should do.
"So are you excited to have your first proper drink" my brother says snapping me out of my thoughts
"Yeah"I reply
I keep thinking about Briar.
How much do I love her?
Do I want to be with her?
Is she worth it?
This night is kinda setting me free from her. Lately briar has been so clingy and just wants to be with me 24/7 and I mean I have a life and I want to be able to live it without having a constant shadow aka briar. But I have known her from a young age.
She is pretty
Our family's get along
She is my dance partner
But this other girl
She's amazing
She's so beautiful
She always knows what to say
It's like she knows what's wrong if your upset
She's always there for people
Shes just amazing
As we walk to the door to enter the part I hear her Laugh and all I can think about it all the amazing times we've had since we first met. I haven't known her for as long as briar but I feel like I have.
I keep going over in my head what I'm gonna say to her.
"Hey Myles come in everyone else is in the lounge" Taveeta shouts at me so I can hear her over the music
"Thanks" I shout back
"Hey everyone myles is here" Vic shouts
"Hey Myles!" Everyone shouts
You can tell some people have been drinking because they are a bit wobbly. However the one girl I was thinking about just looks so stunning.
Her make up done flawlessly and her outfit just perfect. I never thought she could get more beautiful but boy was I wrong.
"Um Myles you might wanna stop staring at her you look a bit weird" Bree tells me
" uh I wasn't staring at her" I say and walk away
