Aphmau
After a long day, we all have dinner. Adam goes home. And me and Aaron play in the pool.
"Wow you can swim almost as good as I can, you're really good!" Aaron says,
"Pffft! I know! I've been working hard you know?" I say puffing out my chest in confidence,
"I know I know, I'm just saying! You're getting good. I might need to up my game!" Aaron says,
"Someday I'll rule the ocean! MWAHAHAHAHA!" I yell,
"SHUT UP!" Zane yells from inside,
"ZANE YOU SHUT UP I WANNA LISTEN!" Melissa yells back....
"Isn't everyone in their bedrooms?" I ask,
"Uhhh yea. I guess the people we know can yell louder than we thought..." Aaron replies,
Ignoring what just happened we play more...
...
I wake up in the middle of the night hearing a faint thud. Unsettled I look up to see a man in a face mask. Before I can scream or even react he covers my mouth and injects something into my neck. I try to scream but soon feel helpless. I can't move any part of myself. I just watch as this guy blindfolds me. Then I feel myself being picked up. Soon enough I fade into sleep again.
Aaron
I wake up and feel the side of the bed... Aphmaus not there. I shoot up.
"Aphmau?!?" I say, I then hear yelling outside. Still only in my boxers I run outside to see zach holding someone against a tree. And Aphmau helpless on the floor.
"APHMAU!" I run to her, I take off the blind fold. She's unconscious.
"Zach! What happened?" I ask in a panic, I pick up Aphmau.
"I saw this man kidnapping Aphmau.... I wasn't about to let that happen." He replies, then he takes off his mask to reveal his face. I don't know who he is. But before we know it he kicks zach in the croch and runs off.
"YOU GET APHMAU INSIDE IM GOING AFTER HIM!" He yells, ignoring the fact he got kicked in the croch...
How did he know her name?
...
He comes back later. Knocking on the door. I open it,
"Did you get him?" I ask,
"No he got away. I lost him in the public pool area." He replies,
I let him in and offer a cup of coffee. We then go to the living room.
"So where is Aphmau?" Zach asks,
"At the clinic. They're getting the stuff out of her system. It wasn't any regular old sleep inducing drug." I say,
"Why did you come home?" He asks,
"Because they told me to because she will have to stay the night..." I reply, "But I need to ask... How did you know her name. I never mentioned it during physical therapy."
"Well, uhhh, you see. Aphmau is uhh.. My daughter." He replies, I spit coffee all over my lap.
"What?!?! Really?!?! Why did you never tell me?!?" I ask in utter shock,
"Well again you never mentioned her name in physical therapy!" He replies,
"How come you and Sylvanna fought so much?!?"
"Uhhhhh!"
"Never mind personal question I'm just shocked!" I say,
"Does Aphmau... uhh... hate me?" Zach asks,
"Uhhh I'm not sure. She's never told me she even had a dad. I wonder why..." I reply, "how about you come with me to see her tomorrow?"
"That would be great! I-i would love too!" He replies,
"Great, I still have you're business card so I'll call you when I go over!" I say,
"Great!"
...
I wake up from my alarm, I get some clothes on and call zach as I head on my way. I see a candy store and buy some chocolate covered coffee beans. For Aphmau.... okay and me too!
I head into the clinic.
"Hi I'm here for Aphmau." I say to the receptionist,
"Alright, down the hall and to the right. She's just getting some meds." She says,
"Okay, thank you. And a man named zach will come in. Let him in aswell." I say, she nods.
I walk down the hall and knock on the door.
"Come in." I hear from inside, it's Aphmau with a doctor. I hug Aphmau.
"I'm glad your okay." I say,
"Me too." She replies, I hold out the coffee beans.
"Ooooo I love these!" She pours some in her hand and pops them in her mouth. I take a few aswell.
"We just finished. She's free to go. Just take it easy okay dear?" The doctor requests, Aphmau nods and we head out. Right outside is zach.
"Oh... its you..." Aphmau says, making sure not to look in his eyes.
"Hey mihan... how are you?" Zach asks,
She doesn't say anything.
"..... look Mihan i know just aswell as you and your mother that I'm not the best father." He says,
"Yea, a pretty awful one in fact." Aphmau interrupts,
"But please give me a chance, life wasn't so great for me for awhile and I just recently got a good job. Please Aphmau give me one more chance!" Zach pleads, she finally looks him in the eye. But angrily.
"You should've said that 13 years ago... when I wasn't over you." Aphmau says before walking away, I look at zach with a confused look. Then I go to follow Aphmau.
"Wait!" Zach calls from behind, he runs infront of us. "One afternoon! Just one afternoon me and you. And you don't have to see me for the rest of your life."
"You don't have to if you don't want to." I say,
"Mmmm..... fine. Tomorrow afternoon..." Aphmau says, "but I don't wanna see you after that."
"Of course!" He says, I can tell he wants to hug her.
Then we walk home. Before we head inside we sit on a bench to talk.
"Do you remember what happened?" I ask,
"Kinda.. I woke up hearing some quite thud, but I could tell it was in my room. When I looked up a man covered my mouth and injected something into my neck. It was awful. I couldn't move I couldn't talk. I just sat there helpless. Not much long after I passed out." She said,
"That's awful. When I woke up you weren't there. And I heard yelling outside. When I got out you were on the floor. And zach had the man who took you. But he got away." I say, she stands up.
"I'm heading to Adams house, want to come?" She asks, I nod and follow her.
~whoosh~
I'm honestly mad at myself. I couldn't fit all of my ideas into this chapter. Next chapter will for sure be good though!
