Parveen Mohamed likes unfamiliarity. She believes it makes her sleuth-ish, capable of unfolding the underlying mysteries in the world.
And its no big surprise. Unfamiliarity is all too familiar for her family.
They've grown up around blonde bed heads and the pillowy tufts of scrambled eggs. Its become all too mundane, second nature at this point. But they've been so absorbed by the culture that their own mother tongue escaped as quickly as it first made contact. Especially for Parveen.
So when she leaves the comforts of her own home to break all stereotypes against her, unfamiliarity comes knocking at her door once again. She accepts it, arms open wide.
But comforts and unfamiliarity don't mesh well. And when they're forced to mix with one another, the friction captures everything in its path.

welcome to this tumultuous journey i would like to label 29 Rosemary Lane.
first things first, it means a lot that you guys are even giving this piece of work a chance. its really my first time writing a full length story, and i anticipate those of you who've done this have had it hard. but i am super excited to do this, and i don't think length is going to stop me!!
29 Rosemary Lane has really derived from the current crisis between Trump and his idea of Radical Islamic groups. the idea of featuring a Muslim character and expressing these beliefs in a different light is something that's been circulating in my head for quite a while now, and guess what? its here!!
