The Arranged Marriage

Khushi – mere liye pyar life mein ek bar hota hai, jo mujhe hua tha, par use nehi jisse meri shadi hone wali hai, par ek aise insan se jisne mujhe kabhi chaha hi nehi, jiske liye mera hona na hona koi mayene nehi rakhta. My love was one sided & now I have to move on, though its not in my hand, I have to ,move on I still think about him but I hv to forget bcos of my family, their happiness is what matter the most for me now.
Khushi Gupta is a very responsible & confident girl, who was in love with a senior of her college & she get the courage to tell him, but the guy never liked her & not even think about her so he refused from that day she got hurt & stop believing in love & love story now it has been 2 years but she couldn't get over from her grief she still think about him, to get rid of him she tried to make her self so busy in studies & work that don't have time to think about anything else, but her parents do as she is turning 25 & in their society all get worried to get their daughter married, Khushi's parents wrnt different from it, & they were more concern about her marriage as she has 2 more sisters after her one of 23yr & other 19yr from last 6 month they hv seen few alliance too but nothing worked, today is another family is coming to see & her parents praying that yaha bat ban jaye
Arnav- mere liye pyar matlab mom. Dad & ,my lil sis, my family & my work, I never think about romancing with girl, as for me my career is with whom to committed with & tht ll b with me forever.

Arnav Singh Raizada a very ambitious, career oriented boy, who is a software engineer , working in a multinational company situated in U.K, he is settle there but his family lives in India, he love his family a lot & every year come to visit them on vacation & this year his parents forcing him to get married as he is almost 29 going to b 30, though he is not interested for his parents he agreed to get married this year, now he is in India for 15 days vacation & its his 3rd day in India & he is going to meet a girl for the first time.

At Khushi's home
Ma: Khushi kiya kar rahi to beta jaldi karo wo log ate honge, Prity kiya kar rahi hai? Ja pinky aur tu jake papa ki help kar mujhe tumhare di se kuch baat karni hai.
As both the girls left the room, her mom came nearer to her & said,
Ma: im tired ! tumhe samjhate samjhate thak gai hoo! Y don't u move on! & tht too when u not even in any relationship. Plz beta try to b normal, isse pehle bhi 2 rishte aye the & u talked with tht guys rudely & rishta nehi hua, y u don't get u hv two younger sis, they also hv to get married na & tum to prity k bare me janti ho sumit k ghar wale uske exams khatam hote hi shadi kar dena chahte hai, par Bari beti se pehle kaise chuti ki shadi karde?
Actually Khushi's sis prity had a BF & 2 month ago they disclose about their relationship to the family & they agreed so now Khushi ki shadi hona aur bhi important tha.
Khushi (with teary eyes): main janbuj k kuch nehi karti na maa & mai rude nehi hoti ho I jst tell them the truth
Maa: & what it is? Tht u loved someone who never loved u? butu still love him? Yeh bhi koi baat hui?
Khushi: it hurts maa, woh rejection it hurts ap nehi samjhogi,
Maa: shayad tum nehi samajhti k ek tarfa koi pyar nehi hota, pyar to wo hota hai jo do logo k bich hota hai, pyar wo hota hai jab ap ek dusre k khushi k liye apne chote chote adato k sath compromise karte hai, pyar ka matlab ek dusre k liye marna nehi, balke ek dusre k sath rehke sari umar guzar dena hota hai. Now get ready urself woh log raste mei hai.
She took a deep sigh & then start to get ready, she worn a magenta & peach color shaded long salwar suit along with big jhumke, put kajal & lots of bangles in one hand & in other a simple watch, looking simple yet gorgeous, kept her hair open.
As the doorbell rang, pinky went running to open it & the whole family welcome Raizada family, they make them sit in the hall while they call Khushi to the hall along with the snacks, so she went to the kitchen & both her sister's help her to get the things, as she entered to the hall, his eyes fall on her, he was wearing a blue blazer with a white vast inside & blue jeans, he gaze at her, as she greet everyone her parents make her sit infront of the boys family, they ask some ques & she ans them nicely, the boys family like her & now Khushi's parents ask her to take him to the garden & get him tea there, so they went, as they were siting there, Khushi offer him tea & asked how much sugar he takes he said one with a smile & then asked her the same & she said no she don't want to have then he said
Arnav: aise kaise? Main akela pio? Ap bhi mujhe join kijiye na, she nod her head & prepare 1 cup for her then again he start to talk
A: waise u must know about me already still main khud apko bata deta hoo,mera nam Arnav Singh Raizada hai, im a software engineer, working for a multinational company for last 4years which is in U.K waha gaya tha higher study k liyye then job mil gai to wahi settle hogaya but im very much attached to my family, & thts y I make sure I cn visit them every year atleast once, this time aya to mom said shadi karwake hi bejhegi & thts how im here
Don't mind actually waiseto main jiada bolta nehi but once I start to rukna thora mushkil hai
Khushi: its ok
Arnav: waise ap ko kuch nehi kehna? Is there anything u want to tell or ask about me?
Khushi: kuch batana to hai,
Arnav: yeah! Just go ahead, u don't hv to feel any hesitation, u can ask anything
Khushi: Actually I love someone, 2 years back I fall for a guy but that love was one sided the day I confess he just broke my heart & left, he never loved me but don't knw y I still think about him, aur isiliye I don't want to gt married, mujhe nehi lagta k uske bad mai kabhi kisi aur se pyar kar paongi. I m sorry I don't want to insult or hurt u, actually mai yeh shadi ladka dekhna & all bas mere mom dad k liye kar rahi ho as if they r really worried for me aur unhe lagta hai k if I don't get married then mere both sis k liye problem ho jayegi
Arnav: to ap kiya chahti hai?
Khushi: mai to apne ghar walo ki khushi hi chahti hu, par kisi ko jhuti ummed deke nehi, as u r here ap to nehi xpect karenge tht u get a wife who ll love u but I don't think I cn give anyone love thts y bas ap ko kisi dhoke me nehi rakhna chahti, thts y jo man mei tha keh diya
Arnav: acha kiya, after that they leave & said they ll let them knw at night.
At night in Khushi's place, all r waiting for the phone whn it rang & Khushi;s dad pick it up
Dad: ji kahiya, thik hai shukriya, to kal milte hai, ji Namaste
Maa: aji kia hua? Sab thik to hai na kiya kaha un logone?
Dad: mithaiya bato, khush khabri hai Arnav ko humari Khushipasand hai ,
all are jumping with happiness while Khushi was schocked, mom went nearer to her & placed a kiss on her forehead & said, finally is bar kuch garbar nehi hua, ab bas yeh shadi thik se hojaye
the next day evening, they kept the engagement ceremony & the pundit ji give wedding day after 7 days & by this 7 days Khushik uk jane ka sab procedure karna hoga, b4 they exchange the ring Khushi was searching a chance to talk & clear her doubts, as she really need to know y he said yes after knowing all this & soon she got a chance, as Arnav went to get a call & wasn't getting signal so he went out in the garden, as he cut off the when he turned & found Khushi, waiting for him
Arnav: ap yaha is waqt?
Khushi: kuch hi der mei ring exchange ceremony suru hogi but is b4 tht I need to knw y u said yes for me whn, she couldn't complete her sentence as he completed it
Arnav: when I know u will never able to love me! Actually, mujhe apki honesty bohat pasand ai, I don't know future mei kia hoga but one thing I knw that hum dono mei 1 chis common hai k we both care about our family & mujhe aisi ladki hi chahiye thi who knows the importance of a family aur raha sawal pyar ka, to he pointed toward their parents, & said humare parents ne jab shadi kiya tha they wrnt in love but aj who kitne khush hai, so I guess aftr some time hum bhi unke jaise honge
Khushi: par jab unki shadi hui thi they were not in love with someone par mere dil me hai
Arnav: but he is not in ur life or is there any hope of him coming back?
Khushi: no
Arnav: phir kiya prob hai, agar apko main pasand nehi to woalag bat hai. Made a sad face
Khushi: nehi aisi koi bat nehi
Arnav: matlab pasand hoon?! Bcom happy
Khushi lil shy: well, now u said yes after knowing about everything mujhe kiya prob ho sakti hai.
Arnav: then all is done, waise bhi mom ne kasam khai hai is bar bina shadi kiye she wont let me go so agar tum ne na kiya to bhi kisi na kisi k sath she ll fix my marriage, so in this way u r my savior!
She give an amazed look & both laugh a little & later both family called & they exchange the rings. Other functions went in hasty they didn't get much time to communicate with each other but had some phone convo through which got to knw about lil bit
The wedding day! She worn a maroon lehenge not much heavy with a light gold work on it & some simple jewellaries, while her sisters wr bringing her into the mandap he got a glance of her & got totally mesmerized he knew tht the relation which they r going to share ll b I formal, then y his heart beating so fast, she sit besides him & the ritual starts, while they look into each other's eyes they promises to themselves
Arnav: I don't knw what we will hv in our future but I will b there always to protect & support u.
Khushi: u accepted me in spite of knowing my past & I will always respect u for this & try to keep u happy
As the phera;s done, he put sindor & mangalsutra & their wedding is done!
