It was dark and cold, part of the reason why both of them had been up so late.
The other reason?
Insomnia.
But only for her.
He was simply just cold.
She was peaking out the small area where the curtains hadn't covered up the window.
Watching the moon and street lights.
Faint sounds of people laughing and dogs barking made her squint in exhaustion.
She sighed quietly and shut her dark eyes to leave her in complete darkness.

That when the bed dipped beside her.
She opened her eyes, seeing the outline of the man who'd been freezing in the other bed in the Hotel Inn room they'd been sharing.
He had removed his tie, along with his shoes and button up shirt before he laid down and snuggled up against her.
The girl flinched at the sudden cold from his body.
She heard him sigh contently.
"You're so warm." He purred against her shoulder.
She blinked, watching the outline of his strong face soften as he drifted asleep.

Now she was cold.
And for once, she didn't mind it.
