GWEN HARGROVE is the new girl.
Moving to a small town like Hawkins is a drastic change for any family. With the events of 1983 still looming over the residents, they weren't prepared for a new family moving in. But they've got a handful with the Hargrove family.
The only thing similar about the Hargrove twins, Billy and Gwen, is their DNA. They are polar opposites in every sense. Billy is brash, Gwen is soft. Billy is a manwhore, Gwen has only had one serious boyfriend. Billy thinks the world of himself, Gwen thinks the world of everyone else. Billy doesn't care, but Gwen does. The two were always at each other's throats, as well as their father's. It wasn't unlikely for either of them to throw a punch or two.
Gwen's first impression at Hawkins High goes down well, managing to run into Steve Harrington's locker and almost giving herself a concussion. But it's practically love at first sight when their eyes meet in the nurse's office.
He's mysterious... but she loves mysteries.
