Sarah "Sally" Hemings was born in 1996 to John Wayles and Betty Hemings. Skip to later, she accompanied her half-sister's and her... friend's daughter to France, where she met with Thomas Jefferson. Something happened in France to which she somehow had become involved in Thomas Jefferson's daily life. He had become quite immersed in her life too, in a possessive and bossy manner. Sally would do most things for him, she was his seamstress and dealt with his wardrobes and outfits. Her and Jefferson have always had a strange relationship. She now lives permanently in Monticello, with Mr. Jefferson and his probably suspicious wife, Martha Jefferson.
