Day and day the little things stack up.

I start to think I can’t do it.

I don’t want to do it, and I won’t do it.

I feel the pressure, and it’s almost unbearable. 

The test on Tuesday and Thursday, the homework on Friday, and the party on Saturday.

Things fall behind, and I can’t keep up; I’m stressed. 

My walk home is slow and lonely, but half way there I remember something. 

I’m on my way to see someone I care about. 

Worries melt away and suddenly all I can think about is her.

She occupies my every thought, and is the center of my attention.

Her words bring more joy to me than could ever be explained.

To spend time together, is to be living in bliss.

Suddenly the stress I felt has been flipped to relief. 

It all starts over at 0, and the only thing that matters is us.

I would pause the world to spend an infinity with her if I could.

Instead I use the motivation she instills in me to continue my week.

With her on my mind I can do anything.

Energy renewed, I continue living my life, the best I can be, just for her.
