Overview of Curses, Hexes, and Jinxes

First things first, whether you believe in the three fold law, karma, etc. or not, be respectful of other peoples practices unless it is illegal or physically harms another person without their consent (blood magic is a little weird man you never know). To each their own craft.

Now onto the different types! First up are jinxes.

Jinxes are typically quick and rather harmless but are mean-spirited. They do not do much harm and are probably a good starting spot for younger/newer witches.

Hexes are next up. Hexes are ill-willed spells that have longer lasting effects than a jinx but still aren't as malicious as a curse. These tend to make short term life a bit harder for the targeted person.

Finally curses. Curses are intense, powerful and can last a long time if left untouched. They are malicious and can be very dangerous to yourself and the target. It is highly recommended that you cleanse the spaces you curse in well and often. These can be very emotionally and physically draining to perform and generally contain a lot of raw, unkempt emotion whether positive or negative.
