Grabbing a white strand, she twisted it in her fingers.
She felt him shift on her chest, pulling the blanket higher. She tensed when he slipped his warm hand under her shirt, placing his thumb on her lower abdomen, above her right hip. Her chin met her collarbone as she stared at the half-white, half-red locks.
He exhaled from his nostrils as his thumb started to go down, slowly. She smiled at the ticklish feeling.
He motioned his thumb to make a two horizontal lines, one higher than the other.
His thumb hovered above her skin for a bit, before make a curved shape and down, diagonally.
He did the same, but on the opposite side. He then made an upwards curve.
A few seconds passed, processing the motions.

Her smile widened at his playful actions. She kissed the top of his head, whispering "I love you too" into his hair.
His lips curled up a bit as he drifted off to sleep.
