Being A Wolf

Tora POV

I walked next to my friend Maria Nightwalker Hargreaves. We were walking home from our first day of school. I am in 1st grade while Maria is in kindergarten. She is only a year younger than me. "So how was your day?" Maria asked me. "It was ok. Rather boring but ok. You?" I said. "Mine was fun. I got to take a nap. Just like you said I would!" She said happily. I laughed and walked ahead of her. "Hey that's not fair!" She complained. "What's not fair?" I asked her. "You sped up because of your werewolf side!" Maria exclaimed. "Shush! Too many people know about my werewolf side!" I said furiously. "Oh," she whispered to herself.

We walked on without a word. "Well Well Well!" A voice said. "Roberto........" I said angrily. A boy in dark green stood in front of us. "Go away Roberto!" Maria shouted. I face palmed and thought. Nice job Maria. Now we are definitely going to get eaten. "What's wrong Tora? Lose your powers?" Roberto said with a laugh. I growled softly at him and tried to keep my side down. Oh come on Tora! Let me at em! Really Grey? LET ME AT EM!!! Sorry but I can't. Awwwwww! Sorry. Now I'm sad. Go take a nap ok? I'll call you when I need you Grey. Fine..... With a grunt of disappointment, Grey retreated to the back of my head. "Maybe you should leave now Roberto!" I said growling louder. "Why?" He asked. "Or I rip you to shreds..." I said. Maria retreated behind me as I threw my backpack onto the ground. Blue stripes began to form in my long red hair. My grey fluffy wolf ears appeared. Grey Now! I felt a slight pain against my head but I brushed it off. A grey wolf tail formed behind me. My human nose turned black and more wolf like. My hands and feet turned to grey, strong, and thick paws with strong claws. A few seconds later I had transformed into a full werewolf.

I stumbled and caught my self with my front paws. Rip em! Tear Em! KILL EM!!! I launched myself at him. Roberto dodged just in time before I collided into the ground. I stood back up and bared my long white fangs at him. Roberto whimpered as I ran at him again. "Tora heil!" A voice said. I looked at the person who spoke to me. Maria stood up straight to help me as I turned to normal. "I-I'm so sorry! I just lost control!" I said quietly. I looked up and saw mom behind the tall man. "Tora why did you?" She asked me kindly. "Roberto insulted my powers. He insulted Grey," I explained. Mom knelt down and hugged me tight. "I am just glad you are ok," she said. "Same as you my friend's daughter." Maria nodded and glared at Roberto. "Thank you Eduardo for notifying me," Mom said to the tall man. Eduardo nodded and put a hand on Roberto's shoulder. "As for you my son, you are grounded for a week," Eduardo said. "For what?!?!" Roberto exclaimed. "Insulting neighbors and a werewolf," Eduardo said calmly. Roberto sighed in defeat and ran inside glaring at me.
