Moving?~Sam Golbach

"Yea I promise it will be fun and you'll be with me so you won't get hurt, I promise." My brother Sam said over the phone. He had been asking me if I wanted to move to L.A. ever since he left Kansas with his best friend Colby Brock, I wasn't ready when they left so I decided to stay home and work up my YouTube channel a little but before I left. He was sad when I turned down his offer and to be honest I was a little bit also but I had to get a larger fan base before I left, but something about him calling this time made me want to go. I had already gotten over 300,000 subscribers on my YouTube and over 30k on my Instagram and Twitter so I thought I was ready, " Ok I'll come, but you have to pick me up at the airport and help me tell mom."I said smiling to myself at how mad mom was going to be when she found out. "Uggghh fine, whatever it'll take to get you out here. Where is she anyway?" He asked sounding a little frustrated. "In the kitchen, why?" I asked not knowing what the rush was. "Because your going to have to be here by Thursday." Sam said sounding even more frustrated if that was even possible. "Ok, but when am I going to block my flight?" I asked opening my laptop. "Tonight. Now hurry and get your things packed while I talk to mom." He said before he hung up. It took me about a hour and a half until I found the right website and got a ticket. My flight was scheduled for 10: 00am tomorrow morning which was a Wednesday. "Savannah! Marie! Humphries! Get your ass down here!" I heard my mom scream as I was about finished packing. I was shaking while I walked down the stairs to find my mother sitting at the kitchen table with her phone in her hand. "Yes ma'am?" I asked barley loud enough for me to hear. "Why is Sam calling me and asking if you can move out to L.A. with him?" She asked now looking up at me. Her face was blood red and her eyes were big and filled with anger. "Because he called me and asked if I would be willing to go a few hours ago and I said yes but I would have to talk to you first and see if it was ok, and my fan base has grow tremendously and I didn't think that you would be mad since my 19th birthday is in a few days." I said shaking very badly now. "Savannah, do you realise that nobody will be on the flight with you, unlike Sam who had Colby there." She said her face getting even redder. "Y-yes." I said now scared that she would yell or hurt me. "But he was 18 too, and I'm legally allowed to move out if I want." I said a little less scared now because her face softened. "I realise that Savannah but you might get hurt, you don't know who's out there in the world." She said tears welling up in her eyes. "I realise that mother, but I have to learn how to face those people on my own or I will be living here my entire life." I said softer walking closer to her as she looked down at her hands. "She's got a point ma'." Sam said over the phone, me and our mom jumped at the sound of his voice. "Samuel this is not the time!" She yelled I to the phone sitting it down on the table not hanging up. "Sorry." He said in a sorrowful tone. "It's ok sweetheart and Savannah, I will let you go, but you have to start with Sam and or Colby at all times." She said sternly looking up at me. I smiled the biggest smile I ever had and hugged her tightly and thanked her over and over I even hear Sam and Colby saying it. "Colby? Is that you!?" My mom said smiling into the phone. "Yes ma'am it sure is." He said and I could just tell by the sound of his voice that he was also smiling. "Oh! You've got to come by the house when Sam returns home! I want to see my baby." She said smiling, as I walked off I could hear laughter. It took me about two to three hours to get fully packed. I didn't know how many bags that they would later me take know the plane so I put all of my clothes into these air tight bags so that it didn't take much room and so I could pack my phone, laptop and camera charger and of course my laptop and camera. I also had room pack my toothbrush and toothpaste and hair brush and all of my make-up. "Savannah are you all packed and ready for tomorrow?" My mom called up to me. After I had told her that I would be moving tomorrow ahead wanted me to get packed and ready as fast as I could so we could spend time together. "Yea! I just finished!" I yelled back. I heard walking up the stairs and someone opening my bedroom door. "Have you made a check list?" My mom asked walking over to my bed and looking over everything. "Yup, I checked over everything three times." I said doing a fourth just to be sure. "Well if you don't have everything you can always go and buy it in Los Angeles." She said letting a big breath go. "You alright mom?" I asked seeing her face look sad and tears in her eyes. "It's just, Sam moved out first and now you, I know your almost 19 but I'm still not ready for you to move out." She said tears now falling from her eyes. I looked over at her and smiled. "It's ok mom, I know that Sam is 20 now but at least me and Colby are still 19. Plus we all still act like 9 year olds." I said knowing that mine and Colby's birthdays we're coming up along with the new year that she would unfortunately have to spend by herself. "Don't remind me that you and Colby are already 19, your birthdays are in a few days, I hate it that your getting older but you ate right you guys do act like your 9." She said finally smiling. I smiled back knowing that she would be fine and walked upstairs. "Grab your purse and come back down were going shopping!!" She yelled as I walked into my room.
