A simple rhyme
a game of words
since the beginning of time
to never ending worlds
Words weave before your eyes
taking flight within your mind
like birds that fly in skies
feelings you thought you left behind
Joy, sadness, inspiration, and despair
animals that run inside
you feel that it's not fair
the emotions that roll like a thundering tide
When deep down you know'em
how quickly this time flew
you thought you read this poem
when really it wrote you
