Astor is an island.
It's population is around three million and a half. It's a Republican democracy. Its main exports are bananas and sugarcane. It has five regions (La Montagne, Delphinbucht, Mountbatten, Mellue and Stockett) and six main cities (Delphinbucht City, Saint October, Capital, Middleton City, Hartnett City and Old Port). Most of the population are engaged in farming and fishing.
Astor's climate is unpredictable. During the winters, it either rained or snowed, and its summers are always hot, most especially in the lower part of the island, where the Delphinbucht region is.
Astor is an island. It is impossible that a well-travelled person wouldn't interact with a resident more than a couple of times. It's impossible to not make friends with the locals. With such close proximity, everyone has developed a hospitality and friendliness unrivalled by other nations.
This is Astor.
And these are Astorians' stories.
