I hopped in my red corvette (hint hint when she meets him, he is asleep and she tries to drive him, that will go great) and sped to the race track. My dad was already waiting for me.
"Hey turtle" He exclaimed when he saw me.
"I am not that slow!" I said angerily.
"Well your five minutes late" I looked at my watch. It was 10:30
"More like five seconds" I got back into Elegant, my corvette.
"Hey just because I maneged to get you special driving rights, doesn't mean you can now drive all over town" He was right. I was only 16 and my dad, famous racer Ted Selester, got me special rights to train to be a racer.
"I know I know" I said exasperated as I sped down to the track. Going well over 100 mph I waited for him to say it, he never did. I hit the brakes and looked back. He was gone, the track, my town, ... ... everything.
When I woke up, my entire world had been turned upside down. How? I have no idea.
