summary
after running away from her alcoholic and abusive mother, marley winds up in star hollow looking for her father, luke danes. she makes new friends, and is forced to room with her cousin jess who is a total asshole.
and when she finds herself crushing on small town girl rory gilmore, the girl with a boyfriend and has marley's cousin pining after her as well, she feels like all hope is lost and buries the feelings. until all hope isn't lost
