I actually made a story out of this:
This spirit fox is the last and only fox left on the Earth. Do you see those 2 earings? And those 2 golden leafs? Well those earings keep that fox alive from a disease that the fox haves. The fox lives in a forest with trees that only grow red leafs and it's really rare to find one with the 2 sacred golden leafs. These 2 golden leafs have the power to keep the fox alive so the fox haves to find as many as he can. (Yes, it's a he) and when he finds them, he haves to seal their power into the 2 earings that give the fox the power to still live. When he gets the power out of them, the tree losts its' leafs and the golden ones fall last and they fall onto the ground and there are low chances that the leafs would grow into the trees with the golden leafs. Or they grow the leafs or they don't grow at all. But the foresters want to cut the trees because they have the most durable wood on the world but the fox can transform in a monster to scare them away. One day, the earings REALLY needed power and the foresters found the closest tree the fox was around at. The fox had 2 choices: to grab the power of the leafs and sacrafice them because they won't be able grow other trees or transform into a monster and scare them off and then decease (because transforming into the monster gets 15% of the power of the earings and the earings had 15% power left) and the fox decided to sacrafice himself and scared them off and deceased by the tree. The fox transformed into the 2 sacred leafs and, surprisingly, the 2 leafs grew into trees and there is a 0.0000000000000000001% chance for that to happen and when that happens, the 2 leafs fall by themselves (the sacred leafs don't fall by themselves but just when the power is out of them) and born into 2 new fox spirits. A girl and a boy and they both made a new line of fox spirits in the forest and the fox spirits aren't rare anymore.
