Unsought, or wanted,
They come.
By thoughts and things
They are goaded,
Into the mind,
Into consciousness,
Into life.
Whetted by writings,
Enhanced by photos,
They bring fear or joy.
Cut and evoke drops
Seen clear, but felt red,
Or sow seeds of happiness
Allowing reminiscence.
They paralyze.
They invigorate.
They kill.
They nurture.
Unsought, or wanted,
They come.
Memories.
