The year is 2050. America has twisted itself into the greatest world power. As a combat for the rising population, president Julia Emeritus proposes a new sport: the ever deadly Battle Royale.

Twice a year, six hundred contestants travel to Los Angeles, California to fight to the death. It's entirely voluntary, and there is never a shortage of people who are eager to release the darkness inside of them.

Dropped on an island with bomb zones, mines, little food and water and one massive, shrinking radiation circle, contestants are pushed to the very limit. Seven days. That's how long they have. Kill or die, no exceptions, except for one: the wild card. A rule change randomly drawn each year, exclusive to those two games.

This year, it involves flipping the entire competition upside down. Any prior knowledge contestants thought they had is slaughtered. So what will happen now?

Live or die.
