Big Hit Entertainment's first girl group, Zénith (pronounced Zeh-neh-th), (천정 - Cheonjeong), is a new girl group due to debut later this year. Each member is to be released, as well as their own single, consecutively leading up to the day of the group's debut where sub-units are to be announced.

Name
The group's name, Zénith, is the latin word for highest point or state. Similarly to their counterpart, BTS, the name was thought to display courage and an ignorance towards the stereotypes, criticism and expectations that may bring them down.
