Waking up and spreading my hand to reach for yours, only to realize that you're not beside me.
I smile bitterly while getting up from this bed that isn't ours but mine only.
I wonder if you're sleeping peacefully over there, on the other side of this cruel world that we live in.
Are you coping well without me to wake you up?
I hope you're dreaming of me, of us.
I'll be back, darling.
Just you wait for me.
