Queen Anne of England knew she wasn't safe. Her husband was ' in love' with Lady Jane Seymour and would probably even kill her to get his way. So she asked him for a divorce instead of an annulment, that way Elizabeth could remain princess. She would be the Princess Royal. Since Anne was an anointed Queen she was Her Majesty, Queen Anne, the Duchess of Pembroke. In return for this divorce Henry forced Anne to Marry Charles Brandon, The Duke of Suffolk 2 months after the divorce.
June 1536
Today the king married Jane Seymour. To everyone's surprise Anne was being the dutiful wife and didn't argue with her new husband about the wedding. She was too heartbroken to say anything. While her and Charles have gotten along better since the announcement of their engagement she still had some feelings for Henry. Charles sensed this and didn't know why but he wanted Anne to be only his and not Henry's.

Queen Anne Brandon, Duchess of Pembroke and Suffolk found out she was pregnant and was due in May. Her and Charles' first anniversary.
