I was humming a song in my head when my locker slammed shut by itself making me jump in surprise and pulling my earphones out of my ears in the process. "What the hell Becky?" I gave her a look and opened my locker for the second time to drop my books.

She returned my look with an eye roll. "Sam, how long has it been between you and Logan?" I froze in response and hit her on her shoulders.

Logan Moore is basically one of those seniors that are desired by many females and to make the story short, we've basically just started dating during the summer. I haven't told anyone about it except for Becky. And I honestly think it wasn't one of my best decisions since she has been anything but discreet about it. But I've known her for as long as I can remember and I don't think I could've handled keeping it from her anyways. We never really did keep secrets from each other like any other people would with their friends.

Logan and I decided to keep our status quiet from the public eye due to our reputations and well- our differences. See he's a very likable guy, he can normally be seen as attractive and labeled popular. He's nice to everyone he knows and he's always surrounded by friends.

While as for me, I'm the girl with the straight A's who hangs out in the library every possible time she can get. I know a lot of people but they don't usually care about me unless they need help with their academic problems.

It's an awful match, really. And a tad bit cliché if you ask me.

But we've been dating under the radar for quite a while. My mom and his mom go way back and I was hired to tutor him on weekends because he was basically failing at everything last year. By the time summer came, after all the agonizing sessions we've gone through, he just decided to ask me out. And ever since then, we've been hanging out nonstop.

I looked around before I glanced back at Becky who was impatiently waiting for an answer. "2 months. Now shut up. People might hear you." I whispered and started walking to my next class.

I strut down the hallway without even noticing that he was passing by. We exchanged looks as he gave me a wink before completely disappearing through the corridors. I smiled a little and entered history class.

I looked around the room and saw people circling around a bunch of guys who were jamming loud as if they own the place. I took a seat and sat in front completely ignoring their little music session at the back. I impatiently waited for a few minutes until Ms. Harris finally decided to arrive.

It was the ear-piercing sound of the ringing of the bell that snapped me out of my trance and after a few seconds, I finally realized that it was lunchtime. I immediately headed to the cafeteria to look for Becky when I felt my phone vibrate in my hand. It was a message from Logan saying he wanted to meet me in the library.

With one last look at the giant crowd of rushing teenagers, I turned around and skipped through the hallway to go to the library with a smile plastered on my face.

By the time I reached the door, I felt my heart beating uncontrollably in my chest. I looked around to see if there was anybody watching and proceeded to go inside when the coast was clear. I greeted the librarian with a small smile and headed at the back of the room.

My breath hitched for a moment as I saw him standing there with his blue t-shirt and dark jeans. He looked up from his phone and greeted me with a smirk. "Hey." He held out his hand for me to take and pulled me in close. "I missed you." He murmured in my ear as I felt his hands travel from my shoulders to my waist.

I chuckled and cupped the opposite sides of his face. "We just hung out the other day." I felt his chest vibrate against mine as he let out a deep laugh.
