As he sat in front of the headstone resting in the ground, 29 year old Tariq Mallory tried his hardest to fight back tears. It was a cold, cloudy Monday afternoon and he was visiting the gravesite of his deceased wife, Janelle Parker-Mallory. It had been a year since the fatal car accident, and Tariq sat in disbelief. That same night, Janelle and Tariq were involved in a heated argument. Tariq wished that things could have been different between the two of them that night, and maybe she would have still been in his arms instead of resting six feet under the ground. He ran his fingers across the headstone that read

February 3, 1978 - July 15, 2004
Loving wife, mother, daughter

Tariq couldn't hold it in any longer. He immediately broke down crying as rain began to fall from the dark grey clouds.

"Janelle, I'm so sorry!" He cried over her headstone, "baby, please come back! I'm sorry, I promise I am! Janelle I love you so much! Baby I'm sorry!"

Things hadn't always been perfect between the two of them. They've always had a rocky relationship. Tariq immediately began to regret the way he treated her throughout the years, although he was trying to work things out with Janelle and be a better husband to her before she passed.

"Baby, why did you leave me?" he asked.

As Tariq laid down next to Janelle's headstone, his mind had went back to the day he first his wife ...
