Forever has reached its end

Sight blurry

Heart in ache

Pain has not left

No idea what to make of it

Blood stained shirt

Tears stained face

Picture burned into my heart

A demise that has to be faced

Scarred for a thousand years

Shattered mind

Broken spirit

Anguish erupts from my soul

Waves of pain overflow through me

Above anything I have ever felt

And then when the worst is over

Emptiness is what's left of me

A void of sorrow

A place of no light

never to see happiness again

And yet, a certain peace falls upon me

A serenity like no other

It calms me

While knowing of the outcome

Never will I be the same again

The past is forgone

The present reaches an end

The future starts now

Our forever has reached its end
