I Don't Want to Grow Up!

I don't want to be an adult

I don't want to grow up

I don't want to waste away my life

With such boring things

And atrocious lies

I want to feel the wind on my skin

As I run freely and dance at my will

Without all these worries to think of

And problems I have to solve

I want to get off of this ashpalt

And play around with the flowers

I want to do everything as I please

Without the fear of judgment

I want to know the world of my dreams

Or Alice's favorite Wonderland

I want to explore Harry's school

And buy things perfect for my pranks

I want to meet the Mad Hatter

And have a tea party with him

I want to meet Humpty Dumpty

And help him get back together again

I want to see the world as I want

Without others dictating what I should do

I don't want to be like everybody else

Who lives like a boring old fool!
