I'm lying here with my heart clinched inside my chest. Sucking in every desire to live into that deep hole. Trying desperately to hold on to whatever it can. Saving it from from being lost forever. The force quite nearly turns me inside out. Exposing the quick of my soul. Making impossible the slightest embrace. My tears are locked in by this force. Unable to gush. No relief from any direction. Maybe this time I won't make it. Only God can relax my heart. Fill it with His desire for me to live. And He does.
