It was a cold December of 1845, most people were shopping for Christmas and riding in sleighs pulled by horses to get their Christmas tree home and decorate it to make sure Santa brings them something good. All the people of Ebeltoft where happily enjoying the Christmas season... all except on. The town called her the little match girl, for nobody knew her true name.

(Match girls POV)

"Please sir buy my match!"

"Get lost kid."
