A young waitress in the players' lounge of Halle keeps running into this young player, and he keeps being an arrogant and rude idiot. But she's not one to back down.

Gerry Weber Open 2017, Halle (Westfalen), Germany.

The buzz in the players' area is nearly too much for Helena as she tries to keep up with all the orders and table placements. Everything looks so incredibly comfortable, the room being adorned with white leather couches and small tables and even a billiard table and foosball to keep the tennis players entertained. 'As if they'd get bored with their millions', she thinks grimly as she plasters a smile on her face to greet people who are walking into the room. At first Helena doesn't recognize him, but - holy shit, that's Diego Schwartzman, isn't it?, she thinks and her eyes go wide.

"Hola!", he greets with this huge charming smile of his, and Helena smiles back shyly. "Hola...", she says quietly, not very confident in her nearly non-existing Spanish abilities. "Is there anything I can get you?"

"Si, I can get a... water? Without the...", Diego trails off, not quite knowing how to phrase whatever he would like. "A..still water?", Helena makes a guess, and he nods enthusiastically. "Alright, coming right up!", she shoots him one last smile and then hurries off to get a cold still water from the fridge along with the glass. "There you go.", she places the items in front of him, and he thanks her. Unlike quite a few other players he seems genuinely nice and grateful for the refreshment for which Helena in return is quite grateful because she had started to think that taking this job was a mistake.

When she gets back to the bar, her co-worker Theo already waits for her. "Hey, you haven't had your break yet, have you?", he asks as he prepares a drink for another guest. "No.", Helena shakes her head. She really really wants a break, but there's so many people in this lounge and she doesn't really want to leave Theo and their other co-worker Jen on their own, especially since they have been extremely kind to her as the newbie this year. "But, really, it's fine... I don't need-" - "Yes you do. Go on your break now, Helena, we'll be fine here, don't worry.", Theo gently demanded with a kind smile, and Helena shot him one last look before she got rid of her apron and left the main area through the staff entrance behind the bar.

It was pretty warm in Halle these days, but today the weather seems to have cooled down, and even though the sun is out with very few clouds visible in the sky, the wind makes everyone who doesn't wear a jacket shiver a little. Helena is one of those people who are only wearing a thin T-shirt, but it's always so crowded and stuffy in the lounge anyway, and she just wants a bit of fresh air. Outside, where the practice courts are she finally gets a minute to herself. The sky is blue and the air is so clean and fresh she breathes in deeply. 'Aaaahhh, I really needed that break...', she thinks and closes her eyes, trying to relax.

Suddenly she hears a few shouts, apparently from the direction of one of the practice courts and she realizes that there must be so many top players currently practicing for the Gerry Weber Open. Helena contemplates whether she should walk down the path and explore the grounds a bit more or just stay here and enjoy her peace and quiet. But it's really not everyday you get to experience pro tennis players doing their typical training routines live - also, there's not really many people anyway and it's probably still very calm down there, too. And so Helena walks down the thin path that leads to the green grass courts that seem so majestic from her view.
