You are my sun
You are my source of light
I feel an elevated joy and warmth
When you are by my side

But I can only get so close
Before I slowly start to die

My skin burning from your radiant fury
My heart melting into a puddle of tears
My soul aging a thousand years

And then you leave me
Setting behind the horizon
With nothing but pure darkness
To accompany my broken form

Without you, I can't see anything
The blackness blinds my thoughts
I crawl around in frustrated agony
