The king decided to merge both kingdoms a few months after this event and later on down the line, he accepted and made a decree that he will never feud with them ever. In 1720, King Taio became very sick and was in no condition to rule the kingdom any longer. He asked his son and his fiancé to come to his room. He told him " Son, you are next in line to my throne. Rule well and respect my kingdom as much as they respect us. Love everyone and do not let hate ruin the kingdom. Keep God in your view, mind, body, and soul. Worship him and Trust in him at all times. When I breath my last breath, always remember that I am with you." Later that evening, The king wanted to give his son the crown because he wanted his son to be the new king and didn't want to wait till his death.
