Ring! Ring! Ring!
I slumpt my body over to the other side of my bed to hit snooze on my iPhone 7. Just forty five more minutes please, I don't want to deal with other humans before I have to.
Today I have my first paying gig at a local restaurant, it's small but it's money and I'm doing what I love. Playing music is really the only thing that ever makes me feel alive anymore, especially after everything with my ex boyfriend Jack.
Let me give you some background information...my name is Aurora Summers, believe me I know...I'm a sleeping beauty. My ex boyfriend Jack Montgomery made me so broken inside, the only good thing to come out of that relationship was the music that I wrote.
The time I looked at the pale pink clock it was 7:40, time to leave for Starbucks then school. I mean hell.
