One moment it was heaven and the next it all came crashing down. What wrong did she do to deserve this, she thought. Betrayal is all that she got to put her heart at risk. She knew it was a bad idea but couldn't help herself. One look at him and she felt the way no one ever made her feel. But as they say, love isn't for everyone and surely his love wasn't for her because there was no love.
But the thing is, this wasn't a moping girl who pines over lost love and forgives his every mistake just to get him back. The reality was far from it which not many were aware of, and she liked it that way.
She knew the risks of getting involved with him, leaving everything behind just to be with him hoping that it would be enough but it wasn't, at least for him and she was grateful, for the harshest lesson of her life, to never love and trust someone more than herself.
