FADE IN
1. INT - CHAMBER - DALEK CITY - SKARO - DAY
The teleportation sound can be heard, echoing through the chamber. KATIE appears in the chamber, dazed and dizzy, stepping back and forth lightly to regain her balance.
KATIE
(Moan)
What was that?
Silence.
KATIE
Doctor? Charles?
The teleportation noise echoes through the chamber again and CHARLES appears close by. Equally dazed and confused.
KATIE
Charles? What's happening?
CHARLES
(Confused)
Katie? Where's the Doctor?
KATIE
Never mind that...
BEAT
Where are we?
CHARLES
Some kind of chamber. Metallic
walls and a chill in the air.
KATIE
Do you think this is another
one of the Trickster's dimensions?
CHARLES
I don't think so. I'd imagine
we'd have been safe from
those inside the TARDIS.
KATIE
Where do you suppose we even are?
CHARLES
Perhaps if we find a way to get
out of this chamber we'll begin
to find some answers.
KATIE moves over to the wall and runs a hand along the metal sheets that coat it.
KATIE
If we can find a door or something
then I'm sure we'd be able to open it.
CHARLES
Here. I found one.
KATIE moves over to CHARLES who is running his hands down a gap in the metal plates.
CHARLES
There's a breeze coming in through
this little rut in the wall.
That means it's a door.
Conventional or not.
KATIE
There's no handle though.
CHARLES looks around the room once more and spots a glimmering flash in the corner of his eye in the top corner of the room.
CHARLES
What is that? Up there in the
corner of the room in the shadows.
It looks like an orb of some kind.
KATIE
I'm not an expert by any means,
