Welcome to my story. This is my first original story I've uploaded since my return. Feedback is appreciated!

Billet =Sleeping Quarters

CO =Comanding Officer/Commisioned Officer

NCO =Non Commisioned Officer

IED = Bomb

OP = Observation Point

Civi = Civilian

MP = Military Police

Comms = Communications

RV= Rondayvoo (Where you gather)

1RV/2RV (etc, etc)= 1st, 2nds Rondayvoo (points along the track where you gather)

ERV= Emergency Rondayvoo

QRF= Quick Reaction Force (back up)

RAMC= Royal Armoured Medical Corps

RE-ORG= Reorganisation (Gathering after a battle)

Magazine= Where the Ammunition is held to be put in the rifle (gun)

Bombing up= Loading a magazine with ammunition

Basha= A tent

Burgan= Rucksack

DPM= Camoflauge uniform

Dust Cover= Part of a rifle, used to stop dust entering (When your rifle is faulty, it won't go up)

CASEVAC= Casualty Evacuation 

Webbing= What you wear when carrying a rifle (for your ammo etc)

Slug = Round/Bullet (generally referred to when shot, ie, there's a slug in their arm)

Patrol= Where soldiers walk around in groups for a combat-related purpose (safety,  information, attack)

Herringbone= A formation which keeps all sides protected. Normally used before/during patrols

2: LCpl/Lance Corporal

3: Cpl/Corporal

4: Sgt/Sergeant

5: Ssgt/Staff Sergeant

6: WO2/Second Class Warren Officer

7: WO1/First Class Warrant Officer

Warrant Officers are Sergeant Majors. Within that, there is also a Company Sergeant Major (CSM) and a Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM), they are in charge of the company and regiment respectively. 

8: Ocdt/Officer Cadet (Only in training)

9: 2LT/Second Lieutenant

10: LT/Lieutenant

11: Cpt/Captain

12: Maj/Major

13: Lt Col/Lieutenant Colonel

14: Col/ Colonel
