It's obvious Trey and Nina are third children- it's stated many times and they have repetitive tendencies of fear and brokenness a third child should have. But what's never mentioned is their siblings- for example, in Trey's arc, his mom and dad are always mentioned, but never any siblings? Where did they go? Were they just possibly older and moved out already? Did they die? If any of that we're true, he could pretend to be an only child, couldn't he? Same goes for Nina. She lived with her aunties- couldn't they have said she was adopted or something along the lines of that? Her siblings aren't mentioned either, though probably living with her real parents. It's just puzzling to me because they aren't mentioned though they're obviously shadow children. Where are the reasons they are the illegal third?
