My head ached as I felt something hard below me. I opened my eyes and looked up, seeing harsh fluorescent lights in the ceiling above me, contrasting against the dark gray ceiling and hurting my now sensitive eyes. I groaned and sat up, rubbing my head and looking around, seeing seven doors on the wall to the left of me. It was difficult to see in the light, but each door had a label, possibly telling the readers where they're going when they step through the door. I stood up and cracked my back before looking around some more. I felt for my phone, seeing if there was any way to contact any of my family, but it proved worthless when it wasn't in my pocket. I looked at the doors and read the labels, becoming shocked when I recognized two specific names, Wonderland and Hogwarts. I stared at them before opening the door to Wonderland, expecting a corridor of some sorts, but was shocked when I was met with the actual world of Wonderland. I gaped at the sight before cautiously stepping inside and looking around. My head no longer hurt and I felt as if my personality had left my body and I was only physically there. I took in my surroundings as best as I could and saw bright green grass and giant mushrooms, flowers shone in the light of the sun, reflecting onto the crystal clear lake that laid a couple of metres away from me. The aroma of tea and baked goods wafted around me, making my mouth water at the thought of a good cup of sweet tea, even though that wasn't likely. I watched as peculiar looking butterflies flew around me, I followed their lead, wondering if they were going anywhere in particular. I ended up running, but stopped short when I came across a table surrounded by both animals and people. I immediately recognized the Mad Hatter, Alice, The White Rabbit, and Mirana. I hesitantly made my way to the table as animals began to make sounds of terror at the sight of me. The Mad Hatter looked at them, concerned, before looking over to me. He choked on his tea and sat his cup down before shooting out of his chair. I furrowed my eyebrows and took a step back as others began to stand up from their chairs. The aura around the garden suddenly began to change from what a utopian society would feel like to what a post-apocalyptic town would feel like. It became darker and the air became thicker and colder. The world around me looked as if someone had changed the genre of Alice in Wonderland from a fantasy to a sci-fi horror film. Mirana's dress had suddenly changed from a shocking white to a deep red, Alice's had changed to a black, and the Mad Hatter resembled something that Stephen King would write about. "You don't belong here." My eyes shot to where the Cheshire cat was, only now he wasn't so bright. "You need to leave." I looked to the Mad Hatter again, he looked incandescent. The wind began to harshly blow around all of us. The White Rabbit(which was now a burgundy colour) began to hop towards me, causing everyone else to begin to walk towards me. "I'm not sure why I'm here, I had only come to ask if any of you knew what was going on." This had apparently been the Mad Hatter's last straw, because then he charged at me, looking almost murderous. I shrieked and turned to run, but the giant mushrooms had apparently also been against me getting away as they began to tip themselves over, making it more difficult to run. I looked back to see a furious Mad Hatter right behind me, and behind him was everyone else. I turned back around, jumping just as a mushroom had placed itself in front of me. My eyes scanned everything before me, looking for the door again. To my relief, it was fairly close to where I currently was. My lungs heaved and my legs burned as I sped up, I heard cries of rage behind me, but I didn't turn to look, terrified of what I would see. I reached the door and threw it open, slinging myself through and landing on the floor of the room I had been in minutes prior. I quickly stood back up as my arm dripped with blood from scraping the concrete floor. I slammed the door shut and locked it just as Mad Hatter had reached it. I heard furious screaming and pounding as he had reached it. I hadn't been worried about it until everyone else had reached it and began to try and break it. I quickly ran to the door labelled "Hogwarts" and threw the door open before stepping in and locking it. I took a deep breath, my lungs aching from the previous event in Wonderland. I heard something behind me fall, causing me to whip around, seeing many of my favorite characters. I froze as I remembered everyone that was in the room, realizing this was Dumbledore's Army, and they were having a meeting. I uncomfortably chuckled as I heard a whispy sound behind me, where the door was. I turned back around, watching as the door blew away like sand. My breath got caught in my throat as I realized there was no longer a way out. I turned to face the group of people again. Someone cleared their throat in the back of the hoard of people in the room. I saw a section of people move over for someone, I assumed it was at least one person out of the Golden Trio, seeing as they were the main characters out of the entire Harry Potter series. Hermione was the first to pop out of the crowd, followed by Ron and Harry. "Who are you?" I thought about what could happen if they knew my name, and decided against telling them. "I feel it's best you don't know that." Hermione looked baffled at my refusal to reveal my identity. This caused Harry to suddenly look tense, and in my peripheral vision I saw Ron reach for his wand. Just as Hermione was about to speak, I decided they should know that I wasn't there to cause any harm onto them. "Just so everyone knows, since I've seen several of you pull out your wands, I don't have any weapons and quite frankly, I'm not here with the intent to harm any of you, so you can stand down. This had caused some sort of confusion throughout the crowd, as people began whispering to each other, keeping their eyes on me. Hermione looked at Harry and Ron before looking back at me. "If you won't tell us who you are, then we'll have to take you to our Headmaster." If the situation were different, I would have been ecstatic, but this wasn't in any situation I had wanted. I nodded and motioned them to lead the way. Everyone looked shocked at how easily I was complying, but she, Harry, and Ron lead the way, making sure I wasn't plotting anything. We walked through the castle before we finally made it to the gargoyle outside of Dumbledore's office. Harry whispered the password before it granted access to the four of us. We walked up the staircase to Dumbledore's office before Harry knocked on the door. Rummaging from inside the room was heard before a tall, white haired man stood at the door, "welcome back, Harry." He looked to Hermione and Ron before his eyes landed on me. He stepped aside for all of us to walk in, as I did so, I took in the room, it had been the same as it was described in the book. I was snapped out of my trance as Dumbledore's voice sounded through the room, "sit." I walked to a chair in front of his desk as he folded his hands in front of him. He looked towards the trio, a knowing look on his face. "I suppose this is about her," he jerked his head towards me. Hermione nodded, "yes, Professor, we were in a gathering, and we heard an odd sound, so we looked, and there was a door that just came out of nowhere, and then she bursted through it." He nodded and looked towards my arm, which was now caked in coagulated blood, "do any of you three know how that got there?" They also looked toward my arm, eyes widening, as they probably hadn't noticed it at first. Each of them shook their heads before turning back to him. He sighed lightly and got up. I had just noticed that the portraits around me were staring at me with utmost disgust. "This has happened before, only, this time the intruder isn't dangerous. She has gotten herself into a portal into different universes and she chose this one, and landed in the middle of your meeting. I need you three to go carry on with your day and tell everyone that saw her not to mention it to anyone else." He shooed them out of his office before turning to face me. I was confused. "What do you mean by I've gotten myself into a portal? I wasn't even conscious until about thirty minutes ago, even then, I had to get chased out of a 'universe' to even get here. Also, do you know why the door disappeared behind me when I got here?" He sat back down at his desk, looking rather exasperated, and then turned to look at me. "Can you tell me the full names of the three students that brought you here?" I looked at him, once again confused. "What?" "Tell me the names of the three students that brought you here." I felt my face redden before I opened my mouth to tell him. "The girl's name was Hermione Jean Granger, the black haired boy's name was Harry James Potter, and the red headed boy's name was Ronald Bilius Weasley." He looked unphased as he got up and made his way to a cupboard, muttering something along the lines of "just as I thought". He got a glass out, pouring himself what looked to be a glass of water before gulping it down. He walked around the room. "You have somehow gotten yourself stuck in situation so uncommon it has only happened one other time, which was long before I was born. You have come into this world looking for shelter, which it has provided, which has caused your door to disappear, meaning you can never leave, and you will slowly develop into a witch, because of adaptations to this world. How quickly you adapt depends on how much distress you were in when you got here. What led you out of the other world you went into before this?" I explained what had happened, and after he sat there with a look of shock on his face, he finally spoke. "You should adapt fairly quickly, then. Maybe within two weeks to a month. I'm also going to have to bring you to Madame Pomfrey so that she can heal your arm." I nodded and he gestured for me to follow him out of his office door. We walked down multiple corridors reaching the hospital wing, I followed him through the door as he greeted Madame Pomfrey. "Hello Poppy, we've got a bit of a different case today." She looked at me as he motioned toward me, she looked confused as to why there was someone that wasn't a student in the school. "Professor Dumbledore, what is this?" She lead me to a hospital bed while talking quietly to Dumbledore. She picked up my arm and examined it, looking more confused than before. She looked to me, "how did this happen?" I looked to Dumbledore, questioning to see if I should tell her, he nods. "It happened in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter chased me out and I landed on a concrete floor, so I scratched my arm." She looked more and more confused by the minute, rightfully. She pulled out her wand, muttering a spell as my skin slowly grew back over the wound. It was still covered in blood, but she used another spell to clear it off. My arm was still quite sore, but it was bearable and I was able to move it more. I looked to Dumbledore, expecting some kind of instruction, but he only nodded once before leaving the room. I looked back at Madame Pomfrey, who looked like she had an understanding, she walked away, most likely to sit in her office. I twiddled with my fingers again, not fully knowing what to do. This lasted for at least thirty minutes, before I drifted into a deep sleep. I slept a dreamless sleep for an amount of time that is not known to me before I was woken up by the door to the hospital wing bursting open, revealing the Golden Trio and Dumbledore. I looked at them, confused, before Dumbledore inched them towards me, their hands all close by their wands. "I believe you had some questions for her," he said before walking to Madame Pomfrey's office. The first to speak up was, of course, Hermione, "can you explain to us how exactly you got here? Or has Dumbledore not told you yet?" I thought for a second, wondering how not to let it slip that they hadn't actually existed and were just characters from a book. "Um, I think he said that I had been sent into some kind of loophole and then the door I used just brought me here, and now I'm pretty much stuck here forever." They all looked dumbfounded, which made sense, but Harry decided to press more. "So, do you know what we are?" At this moment, Dumbledore had walked out and heard what Harry had said, so he shook his head slowly. "If I'm correct, you're humans." Everyone in the room visibly relaxed, both from relief that witches and wizards hadn't been exposed to anyone, and that the Golden Trio hadn't had information like this yet. Madame Pomfrey looked to me, "you should be able to leave now, if you want. You should probably rest some more, though, your arm could use it." I nodded as she shooed away the three of them and asked Dumbledore to leave. I sat my head back on the pillow, feeling myself drift off again. This time, though, I did have dreams, 6 of them. The first one began with my 'eyes' opening to see a lot of white. I sat up, seeing snow surrounding me, it had been cold, and my t-shirt wasn't providing too much warmth. I looked around from my place on the ground, seeing lampposts lining the path I was sitting in the middle of, I realized I had been in Narnia. Trees also surrounded me, but no living thing was in sight at the moment. I stood up, my legs shaking under my weight, seeing as they had began to lose feeling due to the cold. I chose a direction to walk before going to my left. I walked, admiring the imagery in front and on the sides of me. It was a peaceful journey, until I saw something in the snow ahead of me. I cautiously made my way towards it, realizing it was a red patch in the snow. I came to it, and let out a horrified gasp as I realized it had actually been a large patch of blood. I looked around, not wanting to be the next victim of what had caused this to happen. I heard something rustle in the brush next to me, leading me to take off running. I heard something begin to chase after me, growling and barking viciously. I looked behind me to see a large, white wolf chasing after me, I turned back, but slipped on another large patch of blood. I got up, seeing the snow in front of me now drenched in the substance, I knew I had been done for when I heard something pounce from behind me, I quickly turned back around to see the wolf in mid-air before throwing my arms above my head, closing my eyes, and preparing for the worst. Just as I expected to feel the sensation of being crushed, but nothing came. I opened my eyes, suddenly feeling warmer. I took my arms off of the top of my head and looked around, seeing clear bodies of water around me, rainbows filled the sky above me and there were several waterfalls in the area, based off of the sound that was heard. I suddenly realized I was in Neverland before getting excited. I then remembered that nearly everywhere I had been so far had taken a dark turn. I began to walk around, waiting for the worst to happen before I heard a loud cackle in the distance. I stopped in my tracks before turning in my spot and seeing a black vapor rolling in through the trees. I sighed as my legs began to involuntarily carry me away from it. They ached from the sudden temperature change, but I wasn't able to stop. Screams and cries of agony were heard from all over the island as the vapor had suddenly surrounded me and my legs gave out. Deciding to follow what I had done in Narnia, I threw my hands over my head and shut my eyes before expecting the worst. This had apparently worked, as I ended back in Wonderland, only it was the same as I had left it. My breath caught in my throat as I heard a twig snap in the distance. I began to find a place to hide, hoping I wouldn't be found. I searched through the nearly grey woods before realizing the mushrooms hadn't been throwing themselves down in front of me. I looked around, wondering why they had been calm, but snapped my head around when I heard loud thuds from behind me. I remembered that the Cheshire cat had the ability to make himself invisible, making my blood run cold. I tried to make sense of where I had been standing before taking off running what I believed to be North. I came to a stop as I noticed I had run into a town, which would usually make one happy, but this town was currently changed, and eerily quiet. I slowly walked towards the most dangerous place I could think of, the Hatter residence. I noticed a light on in the kitchen, I slowly walked up the three stairs and knocked on the door. It hadn't opened, so I knocked again, but mid-knock, the door creaked open, revealing no one. I walked in and quickly threw my hands over my head before squeezing my eyes shut and, again, expecting the worst. Just as a blade had sunken itself right next to my spinal cord, I only felt the sting of it, followed by some blood. I opened my eyes, seeing a castle in front of me, immediately recognizing the architecture of the building, I knew it was Camelot. The grass and trees around me blew gently in the wind as the sun pelted down on everything, I began to walk to the entrance of the castle, preparing myself for whatever was to happen. My back ached almost as much as my legs did, but I had pushed on and walked the entire bridge in front of the castle. I heard loud crashes and explosions very faintly, which may have meant that there was a war happening, or the world had already been falling apart. I continued walking and listening as the distant sounds became less and less distant. I heard the clinking of metal and hooves begin to approach behind me. I whipped around, seeing at least 300 knights hurtling toward me. I shrieked and took off running again, this had caused them to speed up behind me. I turned to see how close they were to me before tripping and falling face-down. My arm had fallen under me, but I quickly pulled it out and put it over my head before repeating the same routine. I felt a single hoove step on my ankle before the air suddenly changed. I looked up taking my arms off of my head and opening my eyes again. I immediately recognized where I was because of the hills around me, each one had a door. This was Middle Earth. Figuring I should just make the best out of what I was going through, I chose a home to walk into. As I limped in, loud cracking sounds were heard from outside. I scoffed and looked around before going back out. This disaster had happened much quicker, which surprised me. The Earth around me began to open up and lava secreted through the cracks in the ground. My eyes widened as I repeated the same thing I had previously done in other universes. This process took much longer, as I felt a nip on the same ankle that had been stepped on by a horse in Camelot. The air suddenly became much cooler and easier to breathe. I heard the sound of waves crashing around me, the smell of salt water invaded my nose. I opened my eyes and took my arms off of my head once again. I hadn't recognized where I was, but it had been beautiful. I looked to the side of me, seeing an odd stone building beside me. I made my way to the entrance before going into the castle-like building. The lights inside tinted everything red, making the atmosphere feel more ominous. I walked around before I heard the sound of someone softly walking toward me. I turned to see a pale girl with almost white hair and a light blue gown. In the dim lighting, she looked normal from a distance, but as she neared, I came to the horrific realization that her mouth was covered in blood. With her hands behind her back, she made her way to me, her face remaining impassive. As she reached me, she dropped whatever she was holding before and reached out for the area my heart was, staring hungrily. I realized what was about to happen and performed the same routine. I sat up in the hospital wing bed, sweating profusely as Madame Pomfrey stood over me, looking worried. I looked up at her, "how long was I asleep?" She looked at the clock on her wall before frowning and turning back to me. "You were asleep for nearly 17 hours." I began to cough loudly at this information, I had never slept that long before now. She seemed to take notice that I might have a dry throat before offering me water. "Yes, please." She nodded and headed to a room hadn't known. The door to the hospital wing had opened once again, revealing Dumbledore in all of his glory. He made it to my bed just as Madame Pomfrey had come back with my water, handing it to me. "Thank you." She nodded before turning to Dumbledore with a questioning look. He realized her irritation towards him at the moment before speaking up. "This shall only take a minute, Poppy, no need to fret." She huffed before walking back into her office. I looked back at Dumbledore, wondering what he had been here for. "Did you have any odd dreams while you were asleep?" I furrowed my eyebrows as I nodded, wondering what it had meant. "Were there six of them?" I nodded again, my eyebrows still furrowed. He nodded grimly before sighing and clasping his hands together. "You're definitely going to be here forever, then." I nodded at him, now shocked. It then hit me that I would never see my friends or family again. "Do my parents know I'm gone, or do I just disappear from their memories forever now?" He sighs before speaking, "everyone you've ever met has now had you removed from their memory, you no longer exist in your original reality." Those words had hit me in what once could only call a tsunami. I nodded, feeling numb. Everything I had ever done, everyone I ever had a friendship with, everyone I was related to, it was all down the drain and I was alone. I hadn't noticed that three more people had made their ways into the room and were now staring at me, slightly concerned. I could feel the pity radiating off of Dumbledore and it only made me sick to my stomach. I then realized that I was actually going to be sick, which had apparently been noticeable, as someone had handed me the trash can. I released my fluids into the bin before putting it onto the floor. I took in a deep breath before gulping down the rest of my water and throwing my head back on my pillow. I heard Hermione ask Dumbledore what had been wrong with me. I could tell from the heightening amount of pity in the room that he had told her what he actually could. I then heard a faint "so she knows what we are?" from Ron, which was followed by a light smack and a "of course she does, she's going to be one of us." I shut my eyes and was unable to go to sleep as I listened to their quiet conversation about me. I felt someone lightly tap my shoulder, causing me to open my eyes and look up to see Dumbledore standing over me again. "You're going to be put in a dormitory with Hermione, and you'll be able to rest every day before coming to my office until you fully develop your magic. Hermione was the one to suggest this, so you won't be causing any harm to her by not being fully functional." I nodded and started to get up. I felt someone's palm lay flat on my back, right where I had been nearly stabbed. I winced lightly before putting pressure on my ankle to see how bad it had been. I almost fell over, but played it off as if my legs weren't awake yet. I followed wherever this person was trying to lead me and made my way up the stairs, biting my cheek to keep from screaming out in pain. After three flights of stairs, I had finally made it to where Hermione's and my dormitory was. It was the same as the books had described it to be, Gryffindor curtains, blankets, and tapestries had filled the room. She sat on her bed, deciding what to say. She looked down to my ankles, where I had been attempting to keep pressure off of it. "What's happened to your ankle? You limped the entire way here." I stuttered out an excuse as quickly as I could, "my leg is asleep." She scoffed and looked at me as if I was crazy. "Very few people would believe that, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that something's happened to it." I contemplated telling her, and though it would be worthy to tell her in case something happened. I sighed and sat down on the other bed, getting ready to pull up my pant leg above the ankle, "okay, fine, but you can't tell Dumbledore or Madame Pomfrey, because I can't stay in the hospital wing any longer." She nodded and motioned for me to hurry and roll up my pant leg. I rolled it up, revealing a large, already dark, bruise and a ghastly burn. She gasped and turned a shade or two paler. I decided to speak up, "is there any chance you've got ointment and some ice?" She shook her head before grabbing her wand and coming over to my bed. "Episkey," she flicked her wand and the lava wound began to scar over, much like my arm, but the bruise stayed. I then realized I probably should have told her about my back while it was still convinient. "Alright, so I've got a stab wound on my back. Is there any way to fix that?" She looked exasperated as she asked me to turn around and expose it to her. I heard her mutter the spell before I felt skin begin to grow over it once again. I turned back around to face her, "thanks." She nodded before telling me she was going to get ready for bed, and then recommended a long shower for me. I lightly laughed and nodded as she grabbed her things and headed to the showers. I flopped down on my bed and stared at my ceiling until Hermione came back. She remembered that I hadn't had any pyjamas and let me borrow some before telling me that I could borrow some of her clothes until an arrangement was made. I thanked her before going to take a shower. I washed my self of dirt, grime, sweat, dried blood from my ankle, a small patch of blackness on my leg before getting to my hair. Once I got out, I finally felt clean again and was able to rest again.

I shot up from my bed as Hermione yelled at Crookshanks, her troublesome cat. After three months of being in Scotland, I had picked up some slang, and was using it fluently. "Merlin, Hermione, its 6 AM, why are you yelling?" She looked exasperated as she picked him up and sat him on her bed. "He's sat on all of the S.P.E.W. badges and crushed some!" I sighed as I began to get out of bed, looking for a pair of jeans to slide on. "Hermione, he's a cat, he doesn't know the importance of anything that isn't his. You aren't daft." She threw her head back and groaned before shoving the badges in her back and running a brush through her hair. "I'm going to class, I'll see you later." She walked out, letting Crookshanks out as well, and shut the door behind her. I waited until I knew she was one before pulling my wand out from under my mattress. Dumbledore had given me an old wand when I began to show signs of having my magic. I could now perform 5 spells and had almost nailed jinxes. I practiced a couple of new spells for about an hour before actually getting dressed and heading to Dumbledore's office. I was shocked to see that instead of Dumbledore sitting in his usual office, there was a toad-like woman wearing all pink sitting behind a desk, and realized this had been the part in the series in which Delores Umbridge had taken over Hogwarts. I quickly ran from the office to the dormitory, hoping she hadn't seen me. I hid my few belongings under my bed before I made it, and then hid under it. I stayed under my bed for an hour, and she hadn't come by. Sighing in relief, I crawled out and sat on my bed before laying back down. I'd have to wait until the end of this school year to talk to Dumbledore, and that was if he was even with The Order. I took a small nap before practicing and perfecting two more by the time Hermione got back from classes, looking fed up with everything. She handed me what she was able to gather with Harry and Ron from supper and began ranting. "This school is being turned into a prison! Umbridge has declared herself as the headmaster of Hogwarts, as if we didn't have enough worries with detention from being caught in D.A meetings, she's spreading the ministry's lies around the school. She's terrible!" I nodded, swallowing my last bit of food before speaking,"I went to my daily meeting with Dumbledore today, but she was in there and the only time I've ever run that fast was three months ago. I hid under my bed for an hour." Hermione's eyes widened probably realizing what would happen if someone that wasn't a student at Hogwarts was caught going around the halls. We both shuddered at the thought.

----------2 months later----------

"Expelliarmus!" I whipped my wand in the correct way as the Death Eater's wand flew out of their hand. I ran past shelves of prophecies, knocking them all over. Spells were being casted back and forth all throughout the room, but after five minutes, all of the Death Eaters began apparating elesewhere. We ran out of the Hall Of Prophecies, trying to get out of the ministry as quickly as possible. We ran through many rooms, coming through many complications, before e we came to a final room, where The Order finally showed up. I battled three Death Eaters, stunning or petrifying each one before going to battle alongside Sirius, taking the extra Death Eater off his hands. As I petrified my opponent I heard the words I'd never want to hear shouted towards Sirius. "Avada Kedavra!" Before I could properly think, I screamed, jumping in front of him, taking the spell instead. I watched as she maniacally cackled before running away. My vision slowly faded to nothing as I felt my spirit walk towards the veil. I heard the cries of Hermione before I slowly slipped away from everything else, the last thing I felt was Sirius Black shaking my shoulders, no doubt shouting at me for what I had just done. I was then completely gone.
