The cries of a newborn baby filled the grand interior of The Channing House. Twenty eight year old Hera Channing has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Her husband, Apollo Channing, was waiting at her bedside as the midwife came back with their bundle of joy.
"Why don't we name her Athena?" Hera asked, her arms cradling her darling daughter. Apollo stood silently for a moment, just smiling down at his wife and child.
"I think that's a great idea," He replied as he placed his right hand on Hera's shoulder.
Suddenly a loud bang echoed throughout the peaceful silence. Apollo gave a kiss to his wife and daughter before walking calmly out of the room. Hera day quietly while holding Athena. She tried to keep her tears back, but they fell anyways.
"I'll miss you Apollo," She whispered before adding "Athena, his death is in your hands now."
