Very slowly I move my hand around my bedside table as I try to find my phone to turn off that annoying ass alarm. Finally after countless attempts I find it. After opening my phone I see many notifications, at first they were talking about a cruise and then I got really confused..
Oh silly Devyn I thought your going on a cruise today duh!
As I tried to go to my bathroom I fell, gosh why am I such a klutz. When I finally made it to my bathroom I looked in the mirror and I tried not to scream but I still made a little whimper as I looked at my self. My golden locks were all knotted and all over the place and my eyes were all puffy and red. I turn on the shower as I got in it was cold as hell, not that I mind.

Well I guess I should introduce my self. Hi! My name is Devyn Michell I go to not so great Jefferson High school the only good thing about my school would have to be my best friends and field trips. I live in Savanna, Georgia, but I don't have a thick southern accent. I guess you can say I'm popular in school, people just say hi to me often and I don't think of it has popularity I think of it as friendliness. As I step out of the shower I put on my Lane pullover( if you don't know what lane is it's a Georgia peach company basically) and some black Nikey shorts with my white nikeys. Basic I know. As I run down stairs my mom has already laid out my breakfast. My breakfast consist of her homemade chicken salad on a piece of toast and some orange juice and fruit.
"Mornin' momma!" I say as I kiss her on the cheek.

 " Thanks for breakfast it looks delicious!" I say happily as I probably drool. I can't help it my moms chicken salad is the freaking best!

"Mornin' sweetie! Are you excited for your 20th carnival cruise?" Yes me and my parents go on cruises a lot, but I wouldn't consider my self rich. I still have an iPhone 5c cause my mom said When I get a new phone oh get a new phone! And she hasn't gotten a new phone yet so I'm stuck with this piece of junk.

"Yes ma'am, but I'm mainly excited because this time I get to spend it with my best friends." I say with a mouth full of food.

"Devyn manners! But you have gone on a cruise with your best friends before."

"No I haven't, I've gone on a cruise with my family but not with my best friends" Technically I have but I refer my best friends since birth my family.

" Whatever you say, but hurry up we leave in 10!"

"Yes ma'am!" I say as I salute her while I run upstairs to my room. I find my tooth brush, hair brush, deodorant and perfume and quickly do everything. I simply leave my hair down, I'm too lazy to do anything besides brush it.

"Devyn hurry we're about to leave!" My mom calls from down stairs.
I quickly grab everything and rush everything in my bags and run down stairs. I run to the car just as my mom starts it. I open the back door and throw my suitcase in and in one swift movement I'm in the front seat. I turn the radio to 99.3, it's a country station. As I listen to Heaven by Kane Brown in the back ground I try to figure out why my stomach is turning in all directions.

I knew this was going to be an eventful trip!
