Perhaps I will start by writing what the author herself had to say about this story.

So the first seven chapters will keep the canonical events faithfully. It is only after the eighth chapter that real play begins (read: deviations from the canon: D), and after the twenty-fifth story will become an independent story with little relation to the original story.

This is not a story in which Harry becomes a dark wizard or becomes Tom's toy. But if you're looking for a story that will provide you with realistic character development and healthy interpersonal relationships, you've come to the right place. And if you are interested in ship Harry / Cedric, then the first mentions begin already in the fourteenth chapter, and the real action begins in chapter nineteenth.

Now I would like to add something from myself as an interpreter.

Updates will appear every two weeks, on Sundays. I will try to make everything go like clockwork and that even my studies will not prevent regular updates. As for the story itself, I must honestly admit that I fell into my ears after a few chapters and so far I am impressed by how interesting and well written it is. The action is neither too fast nor too slow, there is a bit of humor, romance and drama, characters are written in an extremely realistic way. And although the story is not yet finished, I believe that the author will return to updating the history in the near future.

Thank you in advance for all the signs that you like the story (or do not like it, I do not exclude it either). Any comment or follow is just as valuable because it lets me know that there is someone to explain to, and maybe someone will like it the way I liked it.

The diary spoke.

Harry has never seen anything like this before, but it could have been normal in the wizarding world. Among the enchanted ceilings, moving chess pieces and invisibility cloaks, the writing-off diary was probably no different.

Tom Riddle was a being who lived in the journal. Harry did not know who or what Tom Riddle actually was, but his writing looked elegant, and the choice of words indicated eloquence, which further fueled his curiosity.

Although Harry was sure he had never heard the name before, it still seemed to matter to him. As if this Riddle was his long-forgotten friend from childhood. But it did not make sense. Before he went to Hogwarts, he did not have any friends - Dudley did it. Nevertheless, the feeling of bondage did not disappear, and the name was still knocking in his head.
