Prologue

Louis's POV

"Ok LJ, time for bed".

"But I'm not sleepy yet." LJ looked at me with his puppy dog eyes and a pout. I chuckled at the sight.

"Daddy, can you tell me a story?" I sighed in defeat and sat on the end of LJ's bed.

"Alright. But then you have to go to sleep, ok?".

"Ok". LJ smiled while nodding in agreement. I walked over to LJ's bed and sat on the end of it.

"Once upon a ti-"

"No, not another story about knights and princesses." LJ mumbled. "Tell me about when you and mom met" LJ said as excitement filled his golden brown eyes.

I couldn't help a faint smile make it's way on my face as I thought about the first time I met Clementine.

Authors note:

This whole story is going to be Louis telling his son a bedtime story about what the world used to be like when the apocolypse was at it's worst and about the time he spent with Clementine.

This was just the prologue so don't worry, the following chapter will be a lot longer.
