Hazel's POV -

"you're so interested in your phone 24/7! Who are you texting?" my boyfriend Daniel snaps. "No one, i'm tweeting. I'm interested in my phone, so what?"'

"you never wanna pay attention to me anymore! you always are so focused on that stupid phone, I might smash it one day!" I give him a dirty look

"Listen, Daniel! You know I'm interested in my phone! I told you this when we started dating to get used to it. You said you could deal with it, so live up to your word. DEAL. WITH. IT" I snap. I started to lose my patience with Daniel. He would always complain when I'm on my phone but once I'm off of it he refuses to speak to me.

"NO! YOU DO THIS SHIT CONSTANTLY! ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME YOU SLUT?!" He screams. He immedaitely regrets what he says and quickly starts an apology. "Baby i'm-"

SLAP

"It's over!" I yell, tears streaming down my face from the hurtful word he called me. I storm out of school, it's around 9:45 AM so everyone's in class by now. My phone dings with a notification from a verified account.

I go into my brother Brandon and I's apartment. We live downtown, so our apartment is expensive and luxorious. I walk into my room and go to a mirror, snapping a picture.

"Hazel Mariah Flynn!" Brandon's voice booms. I jump, startled by the anger in his voice. "What?" I respond calmly. "Why aren't you at school?!" He growls "Because Daniel and I... we uhm..." I bite my lip, not wanting to burst out into tears. He walks into my room and sees my face. His eyes soften and he gives me a hug.

"Are you okay..?" Brandon mumbles. I nod and look up at him, "Good thing schools over in three days.." I smile. Brandon chuckles and allows me to stay home from school for two days, but I have to go on the last day. That's fine with me though!

I change into a comfortable oversized hoodie that belonged to my bestfriend Max. We've been bestfriends since we were 3, I got this hoodie from him about a year ago, Daniel wasn't happy.. I slip on a pair of leggings and hop onto my comfy kingsized bed, closing my eyes and letting myself fall asleep.
